Motorcycle Technician

Honda of Bournemouth are seeking a fully qualified technician with at least three years of experience in a commercial workshop environment.

What You’ll Do:

As our new Motorcycle Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our service team, making sure every bike leaves our workshop in top condition. You’ll bring your technical expertise to maintain and repair a variety of motorcycles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance. Here’s a glimpse of your day-to-day:

• Perform routine maintenance and intricate repairs on multi-brand motorcycles.
• Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections, identifying potential problems before they become bigger issues.
• Work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs for transparency and efficiency.
• Stay ahead of the game with the latest Honda technology through continuous training and development.

What We’re Looking For:

If you’re a motorcycle technician who’s got the skills, passion, and drive to deliver exceptional service, we want to meet you. Here’s what we’re after:

• 3 Years proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician (bonus points if you’ve been main dealer trained plus being an MOT tester is an advantage!)
• Sharp technical and diagnostic abilities.
• A team player with a can-do attitude, but equally comfortable working independently.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence in every job.
• Relevant certifications in motorcycle repair and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.

Driver/Valeter

We are looking for a Driver/Valeter to join our busy Honda Motorcycle
Dealership in Bournemouth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will ensure that all motorcycles
leaving the dealership are in pristine condition. You’ll also maintain our demo, courtesy, and school bikes to the highest standards through regular valeting and daily checks. Delivering motorcycles and speaking to customers during handovers will also be a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Valeting - Perform a range of valeting tasks, from full valets to service washes.

Motorcycle Handling: Confidently handle motorcycles of various sizes and weights, even in tight spaces.

Daily Dealership Operations: Push bikes in and out of the dealership at the start and end of each day // Maintain a clean and presentable dealership environment, including emptying bins and picking up litter // Keep the valeting area tidy and well-organised.

Deliveries: Plan and carry out bike deliveries across the UK, ensuring safe and timely transportation.

Key Attributes

Time Management: Plan and prioritise tasks effectively to meet daily commitments.

Teamwork: Collaborate with the Service and Sales teams.

Attention to Detail: Maintain exceptional standards in cleaning and maintaining motorcycles.

Essential Requirements

A full UK driving licence.

A full UK motorcycle licence.

Physical capability to handle motorcycles of various sizes and weights safely.

While experience is preferred, it is not essential. A strong work ethic and the right attitude are what we value most.
