Honda E-Clutch
CONTROL WITHOUT THE CLUTCH LEVER
Honda E-Clutch allows you to start, stop and change gear without needing to operate the clutch lever.
You still change gear using the foot lever, maintaining the familiar feeling and involvement of a manual motorcycle, but the system manages clutch operation for you.
It can make riding feel more relaxed when:

To qualify for the competition, customers must test ride and purchase an eligible motorcycle within the specified campaign period. E-Clutch and DCT models must be the qualifying transmission version shown below.
Eligible E-Clutch and DCT motorcycles can be from any model year, but they must be the qualifying E-Clutch or DCT version.

Honda DreamTech is the name used to bring together Honda motorcycles and technologies designed to make riding more intuitive, comfortable and enjoyable. The 2026 campaign includes motorcycles fitted with Honda E-Clutch and DCT, alongside selected CB1000 models and the Honda WN7.
Honda E-Clutch automatically manages clutch operation when pulling away, stopping and changing gear. The rider continues to select gears using the foot lever but does not need to operate the clutch lever unless they choose to.
No. You still choose when to change gear using the foot lever. E-Clutch manages the clutch operation rather than changing gear automatically.
E-Clutch allows you to change gear using the conventional foot lever while the system operates the clutch. DCT can change gears automatically and does not use a conventional clutch lever.
