These manufacturers have seen their helmets in some of the world’s most prestigious championships throughout the years and worn by some of the world’s most exciting racers. Key features of Arai Helmets:
· Arai have constructed their helmets to be as safe as possible, not to just pass safety tests but to exceed them with flying colours.
· Each and every Arai helmets is handmade and is given a “birth certificate”. Records are also kept that detail every step in its construction. Each helmet takes up to 18 man-hours to construct.
· Arai perform a unique test on their helmets to ensure their safety. Called the Penetration Test, it involves the dropping of a 3KG spike made of metal to test how much penetration it can resist.
· AGV Helmets have been used by legendary motorcyclists throughout the years. Some of these include Barry Sheene and Valentino Rossi. What an endorsement! Amazingly enough, you can buy the AGV K3 Rossi helmets here as well.
· Not only do they pass strict European and US safety guidelines with flying colours, they also adhere to and score very well in UK tests. All AGV helmets pass SHARP testing procedures and are some of the best helmets money can buy.
