Comprehensive Protection – Full CE certification
• Contoured shin plate protector injected with high modulus TPU for outstanding forward flex and impact and abrasion resistance.
• Dual molded U shaped calf protector allows Achilles flex bellows to wrap around the ankle and calf area. Additional calf support is given by a molded logo tab behind the gusset.
• Injection molded support gasket controls stiffness and supports the ankle, while a wide and ventilated injected PU heel counter is combined with an internal shock absorbing padded insert and self-molding ‘memory’ foam ankle guard.
• The S-MX R boot is fully CE certified.

• Integrated breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX® liner for unsurpassed comfort in all climatic conditions.
• Unique, asymmetrical ‘throat’ design area over the medial side of the forefoot promotes fit, flexibility and natural movement.
• Internal lower heel grip with a smooth profile gives excellent feel and control.
• Shifter pad and forefoot protection has been enlarged and uniquely styled with over-injected TPU inserts.
• Enhanced ventilation via lateral air scoops and synthetic forefoot lining laminated with open cell foam for comfort and breathability to the foot bed.
Optimum fit and feel
• Long side entry lateral zipper closure, with a large flap for easy entry and exit.
• Micro-adjustable, recessed ratchet locking buckle and hidden strap around the calf with a Velcro® flap over the entry/exit zip.
• User-friendly Internal calf adjustment guarantees perfect fit for bigger calves.
• A replaceable, contoured foot bed sculpted from Alpinestars PU foam provides enhanced arch support and increased forefoot feeling.
• Alpinestars exclusive rubber compound sole is highly durable and gives superb grip and a high level of pedal feel.
• Interchangeable bi-injected PU toe slider with snap-in assembly.
