Summer is coming and we would like to give you some advice on the best places to visit on your Honda motorcycles.
There are thousands of places for motorcyclists to visit. Some are well known such as the Alpines and the Pyrenees, but there are also some more unusual areas which have breathtaking scenes, perfects roads, long stretches and the ideal elements for an unimaginable ride. Here are the top 3 places that you should visit:
1. Scandinavia – There are many famous roads in Scandinavia, such as the eagle road and the Trolls road which have a reputation of being amongst the most scenic roads in the world. These roads are easily accessible as they are very close to Bergen which has a number of tour operators who can show you the best ways to go. There is a range of landscapes as you motorcycle through Scandinavia including mountains right through to costal views; a truly diverse ride. Just make sure you are wearing the right Alpinestars clothing and either an Arai or AGV helmet (known for being the some of the safest helmets in the world).
2. USA – The Rocky Mountains offer a beautiful array of scenery which is perfect for some incredible riding. The most famous motorcycle route here is route 66 and the tail of the dragon. The tail of the dragon is one of the best roads for motorcycling in the world, with over 300 turns in just over 6 miles, not to mention the climbing and dropping altitude of the smoky mountains. A perfect motorcycle tour for anyone who is daring enough to give it a go!
3. Japan – Finally a place which hasn’t been explored to its full extent, yet. Japan is often underestimated but with mountains as big as those in Europe, amazing breathtaking scenery and perfect roads Japan is definitely a place consider when thinking about your next motorcycling trip. One place in Japan which has been suggested to be one of the most scenic routes is that of the Izu Skyline. Why not check it out?!
