Akrapovic Exhausts Now Available On Hondas
Honda Genuine Accessories has joined forces with the world famous Akrapovic Exhausts to make their reputed products available on some of Honda’s sportier motorcycle models, through official Honda motorcycle dealers.
With many bikers keen to replace the exhaust as a first project on their motorcycle, Honda acted on customer research and feedback across Europe and evaluated the market of replacement motorcycle exhausts. Akrapovic was the brand to come out on top in all surveys, and Honda then built on its previous relationship with the Slovenian manufacturer to provide products for selected Honda machines.
Honda is pleased to now offer the Akrapovic famous performance brand exhausts as a ‘Honda Genuine’ accessory for the first time on the CBR1000RR Fireblade, priced at £978.40 RRP, with the CBR600RR and CB1000R systems retailing at £655.82 RRP.
Expanding the range to further Honda models is currently in the planning, with Akrapovic exhausts due to be released for the CB600F Hornet and all-new CBR600F in April, priced at of £628.96.
Each Akrapovic slip-on exhaust system is available in titanium and manufactured using state-of-the-art technology, with special laser-engraved branding on the body. And being available as an official Honda Genuine Accessory provides further peace of mind with back up from Honda’s high quality servicing and two-year warranty, available on all Honda Genuine Akrapovic exhausts purchased either with a new Honda motorcycle or as an aftermarket accessory.
Honda’s history with the Slovenian manufacturer dates back to 1999, when the original Castrol Honda World Superbike team started working with Akrapovic and won the championship title just one year later with the Honda SP-1 and Colin Edwards.
